Headspring is looking for a driven Sales Account Executive who can acquire new clients, develop a robust pipeline, engage their sales contacts and close deals. The role is focused on dedicated face to face engagements and prospecting activities, developing and executing on leads, and qualifying and developing interest in Headspring. This must result in better qualified leads, a more robust sales pipeline, increased conversions, conversations, and revenue.

Sales at Headspring is vital to the success of our our white glove consultancy specializing in software development. This role will require a skillset inclusive of acquisition, development, and retention of new and existing clients and will require successful experience in all three disciplines.

The day to day:

  • Deliver great results against defined activity, lead generation, acquisition and development, and customer experience expectations
  • Research, create, develop targeted prospect lists
  • Initiate outbound touch point sequence to engage prospects with a strong focus on phone calls, backed up by emails with engaging content
  • Set up and lead initial needs-gathering phone calls to identify their business challenges and assess fit with our services
  • Share, learn, collaborate with team members and manager to develop strategies, improve execution, and ideas that drive great team results and success
  • Follow-up with all customer's pre and post initial sales engagment
  • Skillfully build interest and create opportunities with new prospects
  • Consistently work effectively with the sales team and prospects to identify and communicate needs and schedule appointments
  • Keep all sales activity-related information as well as client notes up to date in CRM
  • Report and exceed against agreed key metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)

To qualify you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of sales management and face to face client selling experience
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets as a consultant or in a role selling professional services, resulting in high-level partnerships with compatible businesses
  • Experience having developed robust sales pipelines and managing the sales process effectively from cradle to close with nationwide clients 
  • Top-class relationship management skills, including rapport-building, unearthing key business pain points and turning them into opportunities for growth
  • Ninja prioritization and time management to manage multiple sequential negotiations, deals and opportunities seamlessly
  • Ideally, your prior experience will come with a “rolodex” that will open doors with forward-thinking businesses across a range of markets leaning on the relationship you have developed
  • Above average presentation, negotiation, time/deal management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas & goals
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, growing environment with minimal oversight
  • Innate drive to succeed and willingness to take action
  • Commitment to the process. This is a metric driven role, and we’ll only hire someone who is highly motivated to hit their numbers week in, week out
  • Persistence - We get a lot of no’s for each yes. But it’s all worth it when you get that yes!
